niespodzianki * surprises * sorpresas
Wszystko co się tu dzieje jest niesamowite! Wczorajszy dzień rozpoczęłam od wiadomości, że będę mogła wziąć udział w konferencji prasowej z Sergio Busquets'em i Jesus'em Navas'em. Udałam się zatem do centrum prasowego i przed wejściem czekałam na Mieszka, któremu miałam pomagać. Okazało się, że wcale nie potrzebowałam przepustki, by wejść, bo pan Julio (członek federacji hiszpańskiej), którego poznałam wcześniej na treningu od razu zrobił wszystkim awanturę, że nie chcą mnie wpuścić. W tym samym momencie przyszedł Mieszko i zabrał mnie do sali konferencyjnej. Moje zadanie miało polegać na podawaniu mikrofon dziennikarzom, którzy zgłaszać się będą do zadawania pytań. Trudność polegała na tym, że nie mogłam sama decydować, komu podać mikrofon, ale patrzeć na znaki dawane przez siedzącą obok zawodników Paolę. Ona na palcach pokazywała mi najpierw który rząd, a następnie które miejsce z kolei zajmuje dziennikarz, któremu mogę udostępnić mikrofon. Na początku trochę się gubiłam, ale na szczęście sami dziennikarze też sporo pomagali i mogłam się rozluźnić i skupić na odpowiedziach zawodników. Zarówno Jesus jak i Sergio odpowiadali bardzo cierpliwie, sporo się uśmiechali, czasem żartowali. Pytani o szanse Polski odpowiadali dość ostrożnie, pewnie wydzieli mecz Rosjan z Czechami. Na koniec jedna dziennikarka poprosiła Sergia by odpowiedział na pytanie po katalońsku i nawet trochę zrozumiałam co mówił.
Po konferencji oczywiście chciałam dogonić piłkarzy i zrobić sobie z nimi zdjęcie, bo chyba lepszej okazji nie było. Ale niestety nawet na chwilę się nie zatrzymali. Dowiedziałam się za to, że inni piłkarze, a mianowicie Sergio Ramos i Javi Martinez udzielają wywiadów indywidualnych i być może za chwilę będą wychodzić. Udało mi się ich złapać, poprosić o autograf, a nawet chwilę porozmawiać, a wszystko to udokumentowała Iwona, za co jestem jestem jej ogromnie wdzięczna.
Późnym popołudniem udaliśmy się wraz z innymi wolontariuszami na stadion przy hotelu Mistral, by przygotować się na kolejny trening Hiszpanów. Gdy skończyliśmy dekorować trybuny i zaczęliśmy powoli rozdawać kibicom flagi do barierki zaczęli podchodzić zawodnicy i rozdawać autografy. Powiem tylko tyle - Asiu i Jaśminko - będę miała "coś" dla Was:)
Później zaczęło się robić gorąco, bo okazało się, że kibice "la Roja" sforsowali pierwszą bramę i pędzą na stadion. Ochrona zamknęła drugą bramę i wezwała policję. Przez jakiś czas nie wpuszczano nikogo, nawet tych z wejściówkami. Oburzeni byli przedstawiciele hiszpańskiej federacji, że nawet oni nie mogą wejść, a ja musiałam tłumaczyć rozmowę między nimi, a ochroną. Na szczęście po chwili sytuacja została opanowana. Hiszpanie bardzo podziękowali mi za interwencję i udali się na trybuny. Nieco później zaczęto wpuszczać resztę publiczności.
Podczas tego treningu poznałam następnego członka hiszpańskiej ekipy - Carlosa. Była bardzo miły, śmiał się, że chcę mieć zdjęcie z Fabregasem i w zamian za to zaproponował mi swojego kolegę, który rzekomo jest do niego podobny. Podobny czy nie, ale wspólne zdjęcie mamy;) Później Carlos powiedział coś, co sprawiło, że zbierałam szczękę z podłogi. Zapytał się czy mam wejściówki na mecze. Powiedziałam, że na ten z Irlandią i z Chorwacją mam. A on na to "No to załatwimy ci jeszcze na ćwierćfinał!" Szok! Cóż 1/4 finału Hiszpanie na pewno grać będą na Ukrainie, więc pewnie i tak nie mogłabym sobie pozwolić na podróż tam, ale i tak baaardzo miło z jego strony!
Everything that is happening here is amazing! Yesterday started with a message that I could take part in a press conference with Sergio Busquets and Jesus Navas. Therefore I went to the press center and I waited at the entrance for Mieszko who I had to help. It turned out that I do not need a pass to enter, because Mr. Julio (Member of the Spanish federation), whom I met earlier during the training at once told everyone to let me in. At the same time, Mieszko came and took me to the conference room. My job was to give the microphone to journalists who ask the questions. The difficulty was that I could not decide for whom I can give the microphone, but had to look at the marks given by Paola - women who was sitting next to the players. At the beginning I got lost a bit, but fortunately journalists also helped a lot and I was able to relax and focus on the responses of the players. Both Jesus and Sergio answered very patiently, smiled a lot, sometimes joked. Finally, one journalist asked Sergio to respond one question in Catalan, and I even understood a bit;)
After the conference, of course, I wanted to catch up the players and take a picture with them, because unless there was a better opportunity. But unfortunately they didn't stop even for a moment. I got to know that other players, Sergio Ramos and Javi Martinez give interviews, and perhaps in a moment they will come out. I managed to catch them, ask for an autograph, or even a moment to talk, all documented by Iwona, for what I am immensely grateful to her.Late in the afternoon we went along with the other volunteers at the stadium at the Mistral Hotel to prepare for the next training. When we finished decorating the stands and began slowly to distribute the flags players began to come to the fans and signing autographs. He offered me a picture with his friend, who (in his opinion) looks almost like Cesc. Then Carlos said something that suprised me a lot. He asked if I had tickets for the matches. I said that on that of Ireland and Croatia I have. And he said, "Well, you still will have another one for the quaterfinal!" Shock! Well 1/4 finals Spain will certainly play in the Ukraine, so and so I'm not able to go there, but it veeery nice from his side!
Todo lo que está sucediendo aquí es increíble! Ayer se inició con un mensaje que podía participar en una conferencia de prensa con Sergio Busquets y Jesús Navas. Cuando terminamos de decorar las gradas y comenzó lentamente para distribuir a los jugadores banderas empezaron a llegar a los fans y firmando autógrafos. Digamos - Asia y Jasminka - voy a tener "algo" para vosotros :)
Entonces empezó a hacer calor, porque resultó que los partidarios de "la Roja" obligó a la primera puerta y vaya al estadio. Seciurity ha cerrado la segunda puerta y llamó a la policía. Durante un tiempo, a nadie se le permitió entrar, incluso los que tienen entradas. Incluso los representantes de la federación española no puede entrar y tuve que traducir la conversación entre ellos y seciurity. Afortunadamente, después de un tiempo la situación estaba bajo control. Los españoles que realmente me dio las gracias a la intervención y se dirigió al estadio. Un poco más tarde que el resto de la población podría entrar también.
Durante este entrenamiento, me encontré con otro miembro de la selección española - Carlos. Él era muy agradable y se reía de mí que yo quiero tener una foto con Cesc. Me ofreció una foto con su amigo, que (en su opinión) se ve casi como Cesc. Entonces Carlos dijo algo que me sorprendió mucho. Él me preguntó si tenía entradas para los partidos. Me dijo que en la de Irlanda y Croacia lo he hecho. Y él dijo: "Bueno, de todas maneras tendrá otro para el quaterfinal!" Shock! Bueno, 1/4 Final España sin duda jugará en Ucrania, así y así que no soy capaz de ir allí, pero muuuy agradable de su lado!

Chciałam uspokoić wszystkich, którzy dopominają się o nowe wpisy. Nie jest tak, że nic się nie dzieje. Po prostu dzieje się za dużo i nie ma czasu zgrać zdjęć i opisać wszystkiego. Szczegóły już wkrótce! :)

co słychać u piłkarzy?
Wczoraj około 12 autokar z Hiszpanami wyjechał z Gniewina. Z jednej strony mamy tu trochę spokoju i odpoczynku od wrażeń, ale z drugiej to już za nimi tęsknimy. No ale od czego jest internet?! Zobaczmy, co piszą o pobycie w Polsce.
Alvaro Arbeloa jest zadowolony z przyjęcia w Gniewinie.

Dziś około 8 rano Mikołaj przyjechał by zabrać nas na kolejny trening drużyny hiszpańskiej. Zaczęliśmy jak zwykle od przyozdabiania trybun i miłej pogawędki za panami ochroniarzami. Potem przyszedł czas na rozdawanie flag i malowanie buzi. Zanim zeszli się ludzie na trening przyszli do nas ratownicy medyczni i strażacy, którzy poprosili o chorągiewki. Jeden z lekarzy nawet postanowił pomalować sobie twarz w polskie i hiszpańskie barwy.
Następnie razem z Karoliną stałyśmy przy barierkach wejściowych i udało się z całkiem bliska zobaczyć niemal wszystkich piłkarzy przechodzących do szatni. Valdes, Cesc i Pique nawet nam pomachali! Kochane chłopaki! Później zaczęłam rozmawiać z jednym panem z federacji hiszpańskiej, abyśmy jako wolontariusze po treningu mogli wejść na chwilę i zrobić sobie zdjęcie z piłkarzami. Pan obiecał, że pogada z kim trzeba i potem nawet przekazał przez inną osobę, abym do niego przyszła, ale niestety nie mogłam go znaleźć.
Szansa na zdjęcia zatem nam uciekła, ale na autografy - wcale nie. Po treningu do barierki podeszło aż sześciu piłkarzy - Casillas, Reina, Ramos, Javi Martinez, Jesus Navas i Iniesta. I uwaga uwaga! od tych czterech pierwszych udało mi się dostać autografy!!! Sopel - Casillas dla Ciebie oczywiście! Bardzo zabawna była sytuacja z Javim, bo wcale nie chciał on podchodzić, ale go zawołałam po hiszpańsku i ładnie poprosiłam, żeby podszedł i udało się!
W czasie treningu poznałam dziennikarkę z radia Barcelona, która była bardzo miła i chciała mnie nawet zabrać ze sobą na konferencję prasową jeśli się uda (z Pique i Llorente). Niestety przez udział w polowaniu na autografy nie mogłam wydostać się z tłumu i nie zdążyłam. Co nie udało się mi udało się innej wolontariuszce - Magdzie, która jest teraz szczęśliwą posiadaczką autografu Gerarda Pique. Na konferencji podawała ona mikrofon dziennikarzom, a potem udało jej się poprosić o podpis obrońcę Barcelony. Z braku notesu czy jakiejkolwiek kartki Magda otrzymała autograf na... kurtce. Coś mi się wydaje, że nie upierze jej już do końca życia;)
Today about 8 am Mikołaj arrived to take us to another Spanish team training. We started as usual, from decorating the stands and a nice chat with the bodyguards. Then came the time for handing out flags and face painting. Before people went to the training, emergency workers and firefighters came to us to request for the flags. One doctor even decided to paint his face in Polish and Spanish colors.
Then we stood together with Karolina at the entrance railings and we were close enough to see almost all the players passing to the locker room. Valdes, Cesc and Pique even waved to us! Dear boys! Then I started talking with one man from the Spanish federation about let us (volunteers) enter after the training and take a photo with the players. The guy promised that he will talk with somebody, but unfortunately I could not find it later.
Chance for pictures ran away, but for autographs - not at all. After training six palyers came to the public - Casillas, Reina Ramos, Javi Martinez, Jesus Navas and Iniesta. And... attencion please! I managed to get authographs from first four! Sopel - Casillas for you of course! It was a funny situation with Javi, because he did not want to came at first, but it called him in Spanish and nicely asked to come up and it worked!
During training, I met a journalist from Radio Barcelona, which was very nice and wanted me to bring up the press conference (with Pique and Llorente). Unfortunately, by taking part in the hunt for autographs I could not get out of the crowd and did not have time. What I didn't do Magda did! Now she is a happy owner of the autograph of Gerard Pique. At the conference she gave reporters a microphone, and then managed to get a signature of the Barcelona defender. Because of not having any notebook Magda received it on the ... jacket. It seems to me that she do not wash it until the end of life ;)
Hoy a las 8 de la mañana Mikolaj llegó para llevarnos a otro entrenamiento del equipo español. Empezamos como siempre, desde la decoración del estadio y una agradable charla con los guardaespaldas. Luego llegó el momento de la entrega de banderas y pintura de la cara. Antes la gente iba a la capacitación, los trabajadores de emergencia y los bomberos llegaron a nosotros para solicitar de las banderas. El hombre prometió que va a hablar con alguien, pero desafortunadamente no pude encontrar más tarde.
Probabilidad para imágenes se escapó, pero para las dedicatorias - no en todos. Después de un entrenamiento de seis palyers llegó a la opinión pública - Casillas, Ramos, Reina, Javi Martínez, Jesús Navas e Iniesta. Y ... attencion por favor! Me las arreglé para conseguir autógrafos de los cuatro primeros! Sopel - Casillas para usted, por supuesto! Fue una situación divertida con Javi, porque él no quería vino al principio, pero se le llamó en español y muy bien pidió que viniera y funcionó!
Durante el entrenamiento, me encontré con un periodista de Radio Barcelona, que era muy agradable y quería que yo para que aparezca la conferencia de prensa (con Piqué y Llorente). Por desgracia, al tomar parte en la caza de autógrafos que no podía salir de la multitud y no tenían tiempo. Lo que no hizo Magda hizo! Ahora es un feliz propietario de la autógrafa de Gerard Piqué. En la conferencia de prensa dio a un micrófono, y luego se las arregló para obtener una firma del defensor de Barcelona. Debido a no tener ninguna portátil Magda recibió en la ... chaqueta. A mí me parece que no lo lave hasta el final de la vida;)
Następnie razem z Karoliną stałyśmy przy barierkach wejściowych i udało się z całkiem bliska zobaczyć niemal wszystkich piłkarzy przechodzących do szatni. Valdes, Cesc i Pique nawet nam pomachali! Kochane chłopaki! Później zaczęłam rozmawiać z jednym panem z federacji hiszpańskiej, abyśmy jako wolontariusze po treningu mogli wejść na chwilę i zrobić sobie zdjęcie z piłkarzami. Pan obiecał, że pogada z kim trzeba i potem nawet przekazał przez inną osobę, abym do niego przyszła, ale niestety nie mogłam go znaleźć.
Szansa na zdjęcia zatem nam uciekła, ale na autografy - wcale nie. Po treningu do barierki podeszło aż sześciu piłkarzy - Casillas, Reina, Ramos, Javi Martinez, Jesus Navas i Iniesta. I uwaga uwaga! od tych czterech pierwszych udało mi się dostać autografy!!! Sopel - Casillas dla Ciebie oczywiście! Bardzo zabawna była sytuacja z Javim, bo wcale nie chciał on podchodzić, ale go zawołałam po hiszpańsku i ładnie poprosiłam, żeby podszedł i udało się!
W czasie treningu poznałam dziennikarkę z radia Barcelona, która była bardzo miła i chciała mnie nawet zabrać ze sobą na konferencję prasową jeśli się uda (z Pique i Llorente). Niestety przez udział w polowaniu na autografy nie mogłam wydostać się z tłumu i nie zdążyłam. Co nie udało się mi udało się innej wolontariuszce - Magdzie, która jest teraz szczęśliwą posiadaczką autografu Gerarda Pique. Na konferencji podawała ona mikrofon dziennikarzom, a potem udało jej się poprosić o podpis obrońcę Barcelony. Z braku notesu czy jakiejkolwiek kartki Magda otrzymała autograf na... kurtce. Coś mi się wydaje, że nie upierze jej już do końca życia;)
Today about 8 am Mikołaj arrived to take us to another Spanish team training. We started as usual, from decorating the stands and a nice chat with the bodyguards. Then came the time for handing out flags and face painting. Before people went to the training, emergency workers and firefighters came to us to request for the flags. One doctor even decided to paint his face in Polish and Spanish colors.
Then we stood together with Karolina at the entrance railings and we were close enough to see almost all the players passing to the locker room. Valdes, Cesc and Pique even waved to us! Dear boys! Then I started talking with one man from the Spanish federation about let us (volunteers) enter after the training and take a photo with the players. The guy promised that he will talk with somebody, but unfortunately I could not find it later.
Chance for pictures ran away, but for autographs - not at all. After training six palyers came to the public - Casillas, Reina Ramos, Javi Martinez, Jesus Navas and Iniesta. And... attencion please! I managed to get authographs from first four! Sopel - Casillas for you of course! It was a funny situation with Javi, because he did not want to came at first, but it called him in Spanish and nicely asked to come up and it worked!
During training, I met a journalist from Radio Barcelona, which was very nice and wanted me to bring up the press conference (with Pique and Llorente). Unfortunately, by taking part in the hunt for autographs I could not get out of the crowd and did not have time. What I didn't do Magda did! Now she is a happy owner of the autograph of Gerard Pique. pierwszy trening * first training * el primiero entrenamiento
Aunque el entrenamiento de la selección española estaba previsto que comenzara a las 10.30 los preparativos han comenzado mucho antes. Junto con Magda, otra voluntaria, estábamos en el terreno de juego justo antes de las 8.00. Nuestra tarea consistía en preparar el estadio para dar la bienvenida a los fans. Tuvimos que limpiar las sillas y decorarlos un poco. Más tarde dio banderas españolas a los fans y pintamos las caras de los niños (y no sólo;)) en los colores nacionales de Polonia y Espana. Luego tuvimos la oportunidad única acercarse al terreno de juego donde los jugadores se dirigió a los vestuarios. Vimos todo el equipo desde una distancia de 10 metros! Por desgracia, en esta área tomando fotos y pidiendo autógrafos está prohibido. Pocos momentos más tarde, tuvimos una maravillosa sorpresa. Iker Casillas, Víctor Valdés y Pepe Reina fue al entrenamiento para los porteros y pasaron muy cerca de nosotros. Víctor respondio a nuestro "hola". Así que hoy hemos tenido un montón de atracciones.

Yesterday at about 20:00 almost all the inhabitants of Gniewino went out to the streets. They wanted to welcome the Spanish national team, which earlier landed at the airport in Gdansk. The pupils from local school dressed in yellow and red shirts, some of them were holding two huge flags - Polish and Spanish. Other people also lined up on the route. Everywhere was full of our national colors and the colors of our guests. Finally, a few minutes before 21.00 appeared the coach we were waiting for. We could see the smiled, surprised Spaniards behind the front windshield. Seems like they didn't expect such a warm welcome. Pictures later, because the camera died.

Gmina Gniewino położona jest na północy województwa pomorskiego, w powiecie wejherowskim. Jej obszar, o powierzchni 176 km2, stanowi część niezwykle malowniczego Pobrzeża Kaszubskiego. Niewielka odległość od wybrzeża Morza Bałtyckiego (ok. 4 km od północnej granicy), bogactwo i piękno lasów oraz malownicze krajobrazy nad jeziorami: Żarnowieckim, Salińskim, Dąbrze, Czarnym oraz Choczewskim kuszą wszystkich pragnących znaleźć się w miejscu zacisznym, czystym i spokojnym.
Gmina Gniewino sąsiaduje z czterema wiejskimi gminami powiatu wejherowskiego - od południowego wschodu z gminą wiejską Wejherowo, od południa z gminą Luzino, od południowego-zachodu z gminą Łęczyce, od północnego-zachodu z gminą Choczewo; oraz jedną gminą powiatu puckiego - od północnego-wschodu z gminą Krokowa. Obszar gminy omijają międzyregionalne trasy komunikacyjne, zarówno drogowe, jak i kolejowe. Najbliższa droga relacji Gdynia - Szczecin przebiega w odległości ok. 5 - 7 km od południowej granicy gminy. Przez gminę przebiega droga o randze regionalnej - relacji Wejherowo - Choczewo. Główny ośrodek gminy - miejscowość Gniewino, dzieli od ośrodka powiatowego - Wejherowa - odległość ok. 20 km.
Natomiast odległość od centrum Gdyni wynosi ok. 44 km, a od Gdańska - miasta wojewódzkiego - ok. 70 km. Główny ośrodek sąsiedniego powiatu - Lębork, położony jest tymczasem w odległości ok. 28 km od Gniewina. Bychowska Struga, bordering the county on the west, flows from the Choczewskiego Lake. Salinka, which flows through Lake Salińskie (70 hectors) and Lake Czarne (60 hectors) joins Bychowska Struga. Together with Lake Dąbrze (56 hectors) they form a characteristic triangle in the west part of the commune. Lake Salińskie is exceptionally picturesque because on its coastal line and the woods surrounding it. Lake Czarne (over 23m) is smaller but deeper.

The place at which it is best to start ones journey is Gniewino where the tourist recreational complex Kaszubskie Oko, with its John Paul the 2nd lookout tower, is located. The lookout tower is 44m high, is shaped like an hourglass and has a lookout terrace. 212 steps lead up to the terrace and in summer one can reach the terrace in an elevator. There is a botanical garden and recreational spot - a 18 hole minigolf course - at the foot of the tower.
There is also a pirate ship shaped playground, 2 natural size model dinosaurs and a chess board at the Kashubskie Oko. Within the complex there is a restaurant. The entire complex of Kaszubskie Oko is situated on a hill (150 meters above sea level). A beautiful view of the beaches, wooded hills surrounding the Żarnowieckie Lake and the water power plant reservoir stretches from here. The proximity of the water power plant makes the Zarnowieckie Lake the only water region in the area which is not a silent zone and therefore, is the ideal spot where all kinds of water sports can be practiced.

Hiking, bicykle and horse riding trips are the best way in which to discover the most beautiful spots of our „Little homeland". There are horse stables in Salino, Bychów and Chynowie, while horse riding is also offered by agrotouristic lodgings. Horse riding and cycling tracks partly overlap and together spread over about 67km of the commune. The cycling tracks "Szmaragdowe szlaki" are as attractive in winter for cross country skiiers as they are in summer for cyclists.
Nature tourism enables one to come in close contact with the cultural inheritance of our region. The visible relics of the past are residential seats. Some are still abandoned others, such as the Palace in Bychowie which is the main part of a tourist complex, have regained their grandeur.
The palace in Chynowie is beautifully situated. It stands on a hill and is surrounded by a park. The palace itself has both baroque and neogothic attributes. In Salina we can encounter the only example in Kashubia of an alcove court, the harmonious combination of Polish court architecture and Pomeranian skeletal architecture (at present argrotouristic lodgings). XIX-century court parks can be found in Mierzynek, Lisewo, Słuszew and Rybno.
Many of the local villages have kept their rural architectural layout. Here and there one can come across historical mills. However, the Kashubian "checz" can be seen only at the skansen in Nadole. Here one can find a restored XIX century peasant's paddock with a multigeneration kashubian cottage and farm house where old farming and beekeeper's equipment is stored together with a woodworks shop and a oven for baking bread.
The skeletal house of the Kuhr family with its reed roof is the center of a reconstructed fishing household, fishing being the traditional occupation of the villagers. Apart from the netloft and smokehouse, a weaver's workshop has been also reconstructed together with an original pressing area.
The „Meetings with etnography" which are held in the skansen together with various workshop activities such as baking bread, offer an unusual chance of coming into contact with the still living culture of North Kashubia. This culture is manifested in clothing, language, songs, dance and „the devil's violin" which was made for the folk group Nadolanie by local folk artisits. To join this colourful world one must visit Nadole during the second Sunday of August when "Krancbal" is held together with a folk art market and a presentation of the regional culture or at the end of September for the „Kaszebsczi Pszczolnik", an event connected with the beekeepers tradition.
